Dremel ran a competition “Make your own luck” as a way to encourage Dremel creators to share their projects and be rewarded for it. People entered on the basis of creating a project with a Dremel Tool and getting their family and friends to vote for their project online...the most votes win!

There was a wide range of the different uses from the people who entered the competition; we had top three winners that all used the product in various forms.

• First place winner used the Dremel Rotary Tool to sand down the edges of a coffee table to install lighting where he also used the tool to cut bits of the lighting, the finished product looked pretty awesome!

• Second place winner used the carving accessory of the tool to create a sign for her bunny rabbit. Her bunny now has a personalised name plate, thanks to the Dremel 3000!

• Third place winner used polishing accessories to restore an old vase, which came out looking new again!

The competition generated a lot of interest from users and non-users of Dremel with lots of votes coming in for each entry. First place managed to get a whooping 366 votes and second place was close behind with 328 votes. This quickly became a massive competition.

We would like to thank everyone who participated and all those who support our brand. Take a look at some of the amazing entries we received.

We hope to run more competitions to engage with our Dremel creators... and share the projects to inspire new users.
